Revspoke is free on the App Store and Google Play. It plays engine sounds that follow your wheel speed, read from a Bluetooth speed sensor on your bike. Three engines are free for everyone.
The app is licensed, not sold, to you for personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control. It's also covered by the store's own terms: Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement, or the Google Play Terms of Service. Don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app or its sounds, except where the law allows.
The app needs a compatible phone and sensor: see the sensor guide and support. Apple, Google and phone makers change their systems; we'll make reasonable efforts to keep the app working on current iOS and Android versions.
3. Full Garage (in-app purchase)
Full Garage unlocks every engine for a one-off price (£9 in the UK, shown in the app before you pay). It's not a subscription.
It's sold and charged by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), using your store account. Their purchase terms apply.
It stays unlocked on that store account. On a new phone or after reinstalling, tap Restore purchases. Apple's Family Sharing may also apply where we've turned it on.
Cancelling: Full Garage is digital content supplied straight away. When you buy, you ask for it to start immediately, so the usual 14-day right to cancel doesn't apply once it's unlocked. This doesn't affect your rights if something is wrong with it (below). You can still ask Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google (Play Store › Payments & subscriptions › Budget & history) for a refund under their own policies.
Codes: if you're given a Full Garage code, it's a one-time code issued by Apple or Google. It works only on that platform, must be redeemed by the date shown, has no cash value and can't be resold.
4. If something is wrong
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content you pay for must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If Full Garage doesn't work as it should, email us. We'll try to fix it (repair or replace) in a reasonable time. If we can't, you're entitled to some or all of your money back, which we'll arrange with you or through the store. If faulty digital content damages your device or other content, and that's because we didn't take reasonable care, we'll repair the damage or compensate you.
5. Sensors
We don't sell sensors. If you buy one from a shop we link to, your contract is with that shop, and its terms, returns and warranty apply. We only list sensors we've tested, but sensor makers can change their products. Revspoke isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Decathlon, Van Rysel or Magene.
6. Safe use
Watch the road, not the phone. Mount or pocket the phone safely, and don't handle it while riding.
Keep the volume sensible: loud enough for you, not for the street. Keep it low enough to hear traffic, people and warnings. Don't use earphones in both ears while riding.
Wear a helmet.
Don't use Revspoke where it isn't allowed or where it could alarm or disturb others (for example shared paths, near horses, at night in residential areas), and follow local rules.
It's a sound effect, not a safety device. Don't rely on it to be seen or heard by others.
For riders aged 14 and over. Keep sensor coin-cell batteries away from young children.
Fit the sensor as its instructions say, clear of spokes, brakes and moving parts, and check it's secure before each ride.
7. Changes
We'll keep the free engines free. We may add, improve or change engines and features. If we ever stop selling Full Garage, we won't take back what you've already unlocked. If we change these terms, we'll update this page and its date.
8. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. We're not responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable.
The app is for domestic and private use. We're not responsible for business losses.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other right that can't be excluded by law.
9. Problems and complaints
Email hello@revspoke.uk. We aim to reply within 2 working days. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can bring proceedings there too, and your local mandatory consumer protections still apply.
